Building one of Europe’s leading high-performance environments for swimming.
An independent sprint team in Gothenburg, designed around how each athlete develops best.
What Growth Objective is.
- Model
- An independent high-performance training team. Not a swimming club.
- Base
- Gothenburg, Sweden.
- Focus
- Sprint swimming: 50 and 100 m, all four strokes.
- Training
- One team framework, adjusted to each athlete’s events, profile and goals.
- Competition
- Athletes race for their own clubs and national teams.
- Open to
- Swedish and international swimmers, including Paralympic athletes.

Built because it didn’t exist.
In 2023, I changed the way I trained. I moved to an approach built around the specific demands of sprint events and my own strengths and weaknesses.
In Sweden, there was no environment where I could keep training that way. So I built it alone: coaching myself, training without a team, working, studying and finding sponsors at the same time. I made the Olympic team. I also burned out.
Growth Objective is my answer to that gap: individually adjusted sprint training, with the people and support around it that make the work sustainable over many years.
“Great coaching matters. The right methodology matters. But so does having a life around the sport that allows you to sustain the work.”
Isak Eliasson · Founder & Head Coach · Olympian, Paris 2024Three things we don’t compromise on.
The athlete first.
We adapt the training to the athlete, and to the person behind it. Everyone trains within the same team framework, adjusted to their events, profile, goals and life outside the pool.
Every session has a purpose.
If we can’t say why a set exists, it doesn’t belong in the programme.
Progress is built over years.
The right things, done consistently and evaluated honestly, raise both an athlete’s floor and ceiling. Some results show quickly, but real improvement takes longer. If you’re in a rush, this probably isn’t the right fit for you.
The athlete at the centre. Everything else in rings around them.
Like the ripples in our logo, each layer exists to support the one inside it.
- 01
Coaching & methodology
Individual adjustments, technique, event-specific training and analysis.
- 02
Performance team
Strength, mobility, physiotherapy, performance analysis and mental performance.
- 03
Partners & network
Companies, clubs, specialists and innovation partners that make the whole system possible.
Six principles, applied to one athlete at a time.
Individual profiling
We identify strengths, weaknesses, physiology, psychology and life outside the pool to shape the training.
Event-specific training
We break down what decides each athlete’s race, then build the training around it.
Technical development
Continuous work on each swimmer’s technique, with individual adaptations rather than one ideal model.
Strength development
Gym work designed around the athlete’s events and their starting point, physiology and mobility.
Relevant data
We track the few metrics that matter for each athlete. Not more data, better data.
Continuous evaluation
Plans are reviewed and adjusted as the athlete develops through the season.
A career is more than a training programme.

Your club stays your club.
Our athletes compete for their home clubs and national teams. We see clubs as partners in the athlete’s development, not competitors for it.
- 01
Athletes keep their club.
Licences, team events and relays stay with the club.
- 02
Athletes give back.
Our swimmers share knowledge and inspire younger swimmers in their home clubs.
- 03
We stay in dialogue.
Where it helps the athlete, we coordinate with club coaches on planning and competition schedules.
High standards, set together.
What we ask of every athlete in the team.
- 01
Own your development.
Follow your plan with consistency, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- 02
Raise the room.
Challenge, support and learn from your teammates.
- 03
Give back to your club.
Share knowledge and set an example for younger swimmers.
- 04
Represent the team.
Take part in content, events and partner activities, professionally.
- 05
Build your own platform.
Develop a personal brand that creates opportunities during and after your career.
